Location switcher

    Hi all!
    I have a problem with the location switcher.
    I disabled the button “change location” in the main menu.
    Every time I go to a listing, when I come back to the homepage I have in the search bar location, the same place of the listing I visited.

    You can check from:
    http://curiocity.travel/
    Then click on a listing, for example
    http://curiocity.travel/curiocities/italy/tuscany/florence/crostini/

    Then, come back to the homepage http://curiocity.travel/

    And in the location search bar there will be Florence (City). But if i disabled the change location switcher, people can’t change the specific location.

    What could I do?

    Hi,

    go to :

    GeoDirectory >> MultiLocations >> Home page should go to and select: Site root (ex: mysite.com/)

    Let us know if that was it.

    I don’t understand where I have to select the root.

    Geodirectory -> Multilocations -> Location settings?

    Abuot the homepage I found this option:
    – Show default location results on home page (First time only, if geodirectory home page is your site home page and user comes to home page).
    – Show everywhere location results on home page (First time only, if geodirectory home page is your site home page and user comes to home page).

    Hi,

    please see image attached.

    If you see different options, you must be using an outdated version of the location manager.

    Can you check what version you have installed, it should be 1.4.9.

    Hi Paolo!

    I upload all GD, but I checked the version of the location manager and it was stop at the 1.4.0
    I don’t know why the plugin didn’t install the latest version.

    I resolved download the latest version 1.4.9 in zip file from GD site, remove the oldest version plugin and installed the new version: now I can see the option you mentioned.

    Switch on that option, I resolved the problem with the location! Thanks a lot!

    Do you have any ideas why the plugin didn’t upload?
