When users are trying to log in they enter their login details, click ‘sign in’ and nothing happens. It either refreshes the page with the boxes still completed or does nothing at all. It did this last week and I updated everything (still on GD V1) and it seemed to resolve the matter. The when people do manage to log in when they click ‘Listings’ it does nothing and they are unable to access their account. I’ve been away for a week and now the issue seems to have reappeared. I’ve tested and have had the issue, when I tried it took 10 log in attempts to actually stop it refreshing and log in, other times it will not do it however much you persevere! Any idea what is causing this or how it can be resolved?
This has also thrown up a second issue which is that when people are clicking ‘forgotten password’ it says it sends a new password but nothing is ever received in their inbox, spam or otherwise. This has always been an issue with the site password recovery as they only are sent occasionally but now people are having issues logging in I’m having it reported more frequently. Any idea what can be causing the messages either to not be sent or not arrive?
Advice on both matters app^reciated- test login and site link below.
Thanks

Is there a different way to do it?About the emails, please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/email/#email-log
We are interested to know if GD emails are being created, best proved out with the email log plugin. Please install and check if your emails are being created.
April 26, 2019 at 12:03 pm #483040Thanks, it seems spasmodic when it does it. I had several users email the other day and when I tested it was the same and would not log in at all, other times normal, other times logged in after a few attempts. After the email I got this morning I tested and could not log in (just refreshes the page but with login details still entered in boxes). Just tried again and it is working fine. I have seen the issue myself so know it exists but would appear it’s only now and then- but common enough for users to be affected by it. Any ideas?
Thanks for the info re auto emails- will take a look.
April 26, 2019 at 2:06 pm #483066Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for your reply. Could you try switching off the “Gd Booster” plugin and see if it fixes the issue you had there?
Thanks!
May 2, 2019 at 5:48 am #484084Hi Kor, Sorry for the delay in reply. I turned GD Booster off but as I cannot replicate the issue I had to wait for a user to see if the issue recurred. It is still doing it. Seems like the log in just zones out intermittently. Still the same issue- log in details completed, submitted and page refreshes with the details still filled in but not actually logging in.
I have tried updating everything and no resolve. The only thing I haven’t updated is the theme but this has only shown this morning so could not have affected previously.
See video attached of issue…

Turned off GD booster but had to wait for a user to report the issue if it occurred as unable to replicate. It has happened again since last night. Same thing- fill in login details, click to submit and page just refreshes but still with the login boxes filled in and no actual log in. Seems stuck in this loop. Was intermittent but now been like it for a good few hours. Whenever a user reports it, I have the same issue so not user specific.
Have updated everything necessary but not resolved it.
Video link below so you can see exactly what it does-

May 2, 2019 at 6:58 am #484089Hi Cheryl Johns,
Thanks for your reply and we are clear now with the video shared. Let us know if switching “Off” GD booster helps.
Thanks!
May 2, 2019 at 11:10 am #484122Hi Kor, you’d previously suggested that and its been turned off (assuming this is the same as deactivating it?) for the last few days and the problem is still occurring.
Thanks
May 2, 2019 at 2:24 pm #484175Hi Cheryl Johns,
Thanks for your reply. I’m able to replicate it just now. It seems login in through the frontend just refreshes the page. Could you share your FTP access here in private reply so that I could ask a dev to check on this?
May 2, 2019 at 2:46 pm #484180I have to request FTP access from site hosts so will post with login as soon as they send through. Thanks

Login has been fixed.
It was GD Login & UWP Login conflict. I have used UWP Login widget instead of GD Login Widget in sidebar. Please check after clearing your browser cache.
Thanks,
