I’m having a lot of trouble when people try to register an account or login to their account.
Quite often they’ll type in all necessary info, hit submit, and nothing will happen. They aren’t shown a message that registration was successful or that something went wrong. Just nothing. And they’ll try again and again and not be able to register or login.
Any idea what’s going on?
October 17, 2018 at 4:58 pm #450143We’d be happy to test that, you can send over the registration URL and we can let you know if we run into any issues.

I am not able to log in using the above credentials. I think the problem is due to caching. Please try to deactivate caching plugin (GD Booster) and let me know so that I can log in into the admin and check the settings. Also, you may need to add login and register page URL in the excluded list of cache plugin so that the problem will not happen again. Let me know if this helps you to fix the issue or not.

I have cleared cache from GDBooster plugin and it works fine now. Can you please check from your side as well?

I have cleared cache and it is working fine for now. If this occurs again and again then let us know and we will add some fixes in the GDBooster plugin for such issues. Currently, you can only exclude the JS/CSS files from the cache and not the pages.

PatrikOctober 20, 2018 at 4:44 pm #450705Thanks Patrick. It’s works temporarily. Then it goes back to not letting existing users login. And still, none of the UsersWP settings are taking effect.
You had mentioned this earlier ‘Also, you may need to add login and register page URL in the excluded list of cache plugin so that the problem will not happen again.’
Would that help? Can you tell me how to do that?
October 22, 2018 at 7:12 am #450788Hi Jordan,
Sorry for my words, actually GDBooster has no such functionality to exclude pages from settings but can be done via code. I would suggest first check if your server has cache enabled or not? Because you are not using any cache plugin.

PatrikNovember 2, 2018 at 7:22 pm #452307Hey Patrik!
Bluehost says caching is enabled but I’m still having issues with logging-in, registering, and having the UserWP redirects take any effect. I NEED this solved. Help?!?!?!?!?!
