Shouldn’t the img tag in html source for these directory pages be pointing to https. I believe the page is flagged as insecure by certain firewalls, say for example wifi at Kroger stores blocks because of this.

For example…even the logo on each page, the link is to https, but the img src points to http

    img src="http://boatpnw.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/logo.png" alt="Boat PNW"

    or
    img src="http://boatpnw.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/anthonysoly.jpg" alt="" width="650" height="265"

    Hi John,

Thanks for your post. You can try installing SSL plugins and see if it helps. If not, you’ll need to update the image file link manually.

    Thanks

Install the better search and replace plugin.

    Search for :

    http://boatpnw.com

    and replace with:

    https://boatpnw.com

    This will solve your problem.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks

better search and replace breaks the site. any recommendations on ssl plugins? My sense is that on a secure site all direct urls should be called out as https, what about .htaccess edit? so a replace is done on the fly.

How does it break yor site?

The image url is currently saved in your database with http.

The right way to do it is with better search and replace.

If you follow instructions provided there is no way it can break your site.

I’ve never tested an SSL plugin.
