    Hello

On my site, I had the facility to reset the password through a ‘Lost Password’ link The link was as follows: http://www.yourlocalconnect.co.uk/?geodir_signup=true&page1=sign_in. Since the latest updates, this function no longer works, but goes to the home page instead?

Not sure what has happened here, but would be useful to have the link working again. I’m linking to buddypress registration form.

    Thanks

    Gary

    Your new link is http://www.yourlocalconnect.co.uk/gd-login/?forgot=1
Not sure why your link is not updated, are you using GD Booster?
If so reset, and also re-save your WP permalinks.

    Hello

I didn’t have GD Booster. This is now installed.

However, a number of links on buddypress and another plugin appear to be over-riding my child theme settings where I have made custom changes. I have only made updates to the geodirectory plugins. Any idea what might be happening here?

    Hello

I have looked into this a little and feel the problem has come about by GD Boost. I note under wp-content, booster_cache there are a list of files labelled in hex code. Is this right?

I have had people hack into my hosting account and files with long hex codes are seen as being malicious.

Under wp-content, cache, geodir-gd-booster, cache, http, http://www.yourlocalconnect.co.uk, there are four folders: author, category, faq, group.

faq and group are the areas where the child theme is being over-ridden?

    See attached.

I’m going to deactivate the GD boost until you provide some guidance on this.

    Hi Gary,

    Have you updated everything?
The GD booster cache files are supposed to look like that.

If you have updated everything and are still having problems, please provide wp-admin and i’ll take a look.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hello Stiofan

In part looks done. The social text now looks correct.

As for the support tab, the text for the FAQs is still displaying something large – 1.1em. This is overriding the child theme CSS of 15px?

    Hi Gary,

The problem is the jquery-ui-smoothness-css is being taken from a CDN and not your site and these files are not added to the one file, you can resolve this by moving it to onsite then it will be added to the main GD Booster file in the correct order.

    Thanks,

    Stifoan
