Make multiple fields *required for search

    My client would like to require both search fields be filled out before a user can search. So they would be required to choose a category from a Select field, and enter a Zip code in the Zip field before searching.

    Is there some core functionality that I haven’t found for this, or is there an easy tweak that can be made to the forms?
