    Hi,

    I’d like to expand the width of the map on the /search page to be 100% of the entire page, however I can’t seem to get that to work in all circumstances. I noticed that if I conduct a generic search from the home page (https://www.simplfi-mockups.com.au), the URL becomes: https://www.simplfi-mockups.com.au/search/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_accommodation&spost_category%5B%5D=&sall%5B%5D=&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=. (see screenshot_1 attached)

    If I remove “geodir_search=1” and make the URL: https://www.simplfi-mockups.com.au/search/?stype=gd_accommodation&spost_category%5B%5D=&sall%5B%5D=&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=. – the map then becomes full-width as I would like (although the listings are not displayed below the map) (see screenshot_2 attached).

    Any ideas what’s going on?

    Thanks!
    Andrew

    You will need to look at the page template and adjust the settings.

    If GD is running on the page then it is grabbing a different template.

    Did you set the search page to be a full width template?

    I’m using the Divi theme and have embedded the relevant shortcodes into Divi code modules. I’ve set the relevant modules to be full width within the page, and checked the relevant template options but there are only: “Default template” and “Blank page” (see attached image).

    Any ideas?

    Yes, did you try both? Do they give you different results?

    Did you try the option at

    GD – Settings – Design – Design – Page template file override

    Let us know

    Hi Alex, I tried both and there was no difference. I also toggled through the options in the “GD – Settings – Design – Design – Page template file override” settings as well as the behaviour is identical …

    I changed it with a bit of CSS:

    body.geodir-page-search .container{
    	width:100%;
    	max-width:100%;
    }
