Hi guys,
I’m using the Geo 1280 theme.
Map Homepage:
1. My GD homepage map won’t automatically center from the user’s location on desktop and mobile.
2. Can the GD Map Homepage widget be used on the Homepage Right Sidebar? If so, how can I align the checkboxes for the mobile site so they’re not stacking on one another? (photo)Popular Post View:
1. Can this widget display places near the user? It has the option to sort by Featured, Review, etc. but not places near the user.
2. I have the layout at Grid View two column. Looks fine on a desktop but on the mobile site it’s a single column to the left with all this white space on the right. (photo)Thank you for your help.

1 that’s not how it work, if you have GeoLocation active in GeoDirectory > Advance search, it will ask users if they want to share their location and if so, present them with the map of listings near them.
2 It required some custom css to accomodate it.
3 see question 1. TO be able to show listing near someone you must know where he is. If he hasn’t shared his location that is not possible.
4 Fixed on your website.
Let us know,
Thanks
March 26, 2016 at 4:59 pm #146391Hi Paolo,
Regarding #1: Homepage Map, I had my Geolocation active, I just forgot to click “Map Auto Zoom” under widgets. However, no matter what “Map Zoom Level” I select, it doesn’t change the zoom level. If I select 1 or 19 it looks like the attached photo. I’d like to be a lot closer like a 15 mile radius.
Regarding #3: Popular Post View Widget, I have Geolocation on, where can I choose to have this widget display places near me? For now, I currently have it displaying recently added studios. Are you sure this widget can actually display listings near the user? That would be great.
Thank you for addressing #2 and #4. 🙂
Thanks.

March 26, 2016 at 5:02 pm #146394One more thing, how can I keep the mobile search bar as is but fix this overlapping on the desktop site?
Thanks,

March 29, 2016 at 4:35 pm #153584Hi,
sorry for the late reply, we had some problems with the server yesterday.
1 map auto zoom will zoom taking the markers on the map as reference, to include them all. That is autozoom.
2 popular post widget will show distance in the location/me page if listings are available.
to fix that css we would need to check your website. Please provide a link as images can’t be inspected.
Thanks

Thanks
April 1, 2016 at 7:57 pm #155940Thanks Paolo.
Any suggestions on how I can fix the overlapping search bar? If I lengthen the search bar on the desktop, it messes up the mobile search bar.

April 1, 2016 at 9:16 pm #155980In the new theme I solved that making the compass much smaller visible in the corner…
Otherwise there are not that many options.
Thanks
April 5, 2016 at 6:20 pm #158055Hi Paolo,
How do I get this new theme? I’m up to date with everything else. Thank you.
April 5, 2016 at 6:30 pm #158062I meant to do what we did with css for the other theme.
Try adding this in GD >> design >> scripts >> custom css:
.near-compass { margin: 34px 0 0 36px; } .fa.fa-compass { font-size: 22px; }
Let us know if this works,
Thanks
April 5, 2016 at 6:54 pm #158178It’s so cute now.
Since it was super tiny, I made it a tad bigger changing the numbers a little:
.near-compass {
margin: 22px 0 0 22px;
}.fa.fa-compass {
font-size: 35px;
}Hopefully it won’t cause problems.
Thanks, Paolo.

April 8, 2016 at 8:42 pm #160416Hi Paolo,
For the GD Homepage Widget, what is the purpose of:
1. Map Zoom Level: Whether it’s set to 1 or 19, nothing happens.
2. Collapse Child Category: Whether the box is checked or not, I can still collapse it.Thank you.
