    Hi,
    Think this topis has been marked as resolved but still same issue with some entries/icons displaying on the map – Should all be resolved now?

    Hi Simon,

    it shoudl be resolved now, the problem is another plugin is using a similar tax meta script and we have extra hooks and the other plugin is loading its script first and it does not have the hooks.

    To fix this i replaced this plugin file
    /plugins/cubell-themes-functionality/extensions/Tax-meta-class/Tax-meta-class.php
    with our version:
    /plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/cat-meta-functions/Tax-meta-class.php

    There still seems to be the issue – Specifically CPT Shop Local in Phone & Grocery and also CPT Tourism in Family Day Out & Fun For Kids. Others seem fine and new listings added seem fine now.

    And looking through some pages and seems I’ve lost some theme bits with some widgets no longer appearing and some text functions no longer working

    Hi,

    if another plugin is using a class with the same name as a class in GeoDirectory, you may have to get rid of that plugin.

    Anyway, I’ve asked to Stiofan to follow up.

    Please avoid opening new topics for the same issue, we still read replies on topic marked as resolved and we can always re-open them.

    Likewise – Thanks for your patience with me.
    I guess what I should have done in hindsight is used the GeoTheme rather than trying to fit plugin with existing theme and would have been easier all round. But if we can get that last little bit resolved I can then move forward.

    Please give it a try now, there was some testing code i think was blocking it, it seems to have removed some icons, you might be quicker exporting and then reimporting the categories.

    Gone back to the default icon for listings now rather than the category icon – If I go through and re add icons to each category should they get assigned to listings or do I need to sort anything else?

    It was all going too well – Thought I’d update plugin before going live and it broke so need to go back to previous backup and the last good one is just before you made changes yesterday. Can you remove problem test code again? Presume there’s no way of preserving the category icons in some way before your fix removes them?

    Forgot to add on last post that I know this is ‘above and beyond’ so if there’s any payment needed for extra work please let me know. Support so far has been great and I’ll try not to f*** it up again!

    Gutted here – Thought it would be the right thing to get all updated before going live but didn’t install correctly and gave fatal error. I know I’m a total pain but is there any way the site can be looked at so I can get back on schedule for making it live?
