Map marker display

    Just wondering if you could help with these;

    1. Special Events

    I have set up a page to show Special Events (ie featured events) using GD Archive page as the template. I would like the map to show the featured events, however it is showing markers for Places (Casinos) not Events (Poker games).

    How can I get the map to display markers for the Events not Places?

    2. Casinos & Cruises (Places & Events)

    I have set up a page with GD Archive template to show Places with a category of Casino or Cruises AND Events with a category of Casinos or Cruises.

    The map is displaying the markers for the places.

    How can I get the map to display markers for both selected Events and selected Places?

    The archive template is only for use with pages that are making automatic ‘loop’ queries.

    If you want to change the way the map works for the archive template you will need to customize the theme.

    As an alternative you can create a page with the geodirectory template and add a map element with the map type set to ‘archive’ and specify the post type that should be displayed.
