    Hey,

Thanks for creating this plugin 🙂

First up – this short code with listing_map does not seem to be working at all [gd_listing_map width=100% height=300 scrollwheel=false category=”2,3,4″]. I’ve included a link I am trying to load this on below. You can see the short code just listed. I used the info here as a guide https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listing.

My main issue I seem to be having an issue filtering a map by a specific category. I’ve gotten this short code to load the map, [gd_map width=”100%” height=”650px” maptype=”ROADMAP” zoom=”0″ map_type=”directory” post_settings=”1″ post_type=”gd_place” post_type_filter=”1″ cat_filter=”3804″ child_collapse=”false”]. This cat ID of 3804 should just be loading. I used the info here as a guide https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/maps/

The third issue is loading google map by default (not sure if this needs another forum post). I’ve added the API key and associated it with my existing billing account on google. Am I missing something to ensure google maps loads by default?

    Here’s the test page.
    https://www.highcountryconservation.org/drop-off-recycling-copy-2/

I’ve also read about wp bakery being an issue. I added the last row of the maps to a raw HTML module. Just to test.

I’ve gotta be doing something wrong here…

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction here.

    Hello,

    that shortcode gd_listing_map is a V1 shortcode and won’t work with V2.

New docs for the current version are here:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/

    For more about maps:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/maps/

A map that includes or excludes categories needs to have terms=””

    example

    [gd_map width="100%" height="425px" maptype="ROADMAP" zoom="0" map_type="directory" post_settings="1" terms="3804"]

If you want to use Google Maps make sure to set it as the Map API in the general settings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/

Maps are loading on the page, so, looks like just a few adjustments to be made to settings.

If we need to check the settings please write back with WP Admin credentials in a private reply.

Many thanks for getting back to me. I’m not sure how I got onto the old docs. I will implement it that way 🙂

Anyway for the map, I seem to have less options on my screen in general settings than in here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/general/

Is this only available in a premium version?

    Thanks

    Hi 6600feet,

Thanks for your reply. Clicking on the “Show Advanced” button will reveal more options as shown in the attached screenshot. Could you check on it?
