I have price and payment plugin enabled with 2 options, Free and Paid. With Free I have *ONLY* “time” field enabled in “Post Field” option and all other fields for a dollar amount(example: Phone number). In the listings they work fine.

But, any records that show up on the front page map, where you click an icon to display information, the Paid only items show up there. Example Phone number, which is under Paid listing only.

    How do I solve this?

You need to filter the custom field in the option in Geodirectory / your custom type (e.g. Place Settings). then expand the field and tick the package you want it to be displayed (Only paid in your case)
    see attach.

GD > “place” settings > custom fields > select the field you want to restrict to some payment options

That unfortunately did not work. I have payment option selected in the field when I double click it. After I saved it, Reloaded the sites few times, The phone number still shows up on the map pop up

I am a bit confused by this.
How come that users cannot submit a phone number but it can show?
Can I have a look at your settings please?

    All your settings are OK.
The problem is that because the data has been entered into the database, it will be shown.
All I can think off is to somehow delete the data you don’t want to show, either by re-importing another CSV or by deleting the relevant data in your database.
I can see that the listings do not show the phone number in the backend, and would expect them not to show on the map either, just like if it would have been a paid listing (with phone) and it has expired (then the phone should disappear from the detail page and the info-window).
I’ll ask Stiofan whether this is correct behaviour or if he has any other suggestions.

Yes, it will work on the new-posted listings, it isn’t retroactive

What kind of Logic is that? It works on the listing, why shouldn’t it work on the map pop up??

As for not being retroactive, Not every business will want to “ADD” new listing. No one starts out a directory with ZERO listings.

You guys need to think this through for this and all other plugins.

Let’s hear Stiofan, I did a test on my website and it seems it isn’t retroactive.
Theorically, when starting a new website, you go live after setting up prices and categories and custom types, custom fields etc..you don’t populate the website and then change the prices/packages. That’s my 2 cents

Thank you for your 2 cents Simone, So if I take your advice, I should delete all data, then setup prices/packages again, then re-import and everything will work as it should?
