Greetings!
I have several questions relating to maps so I’ve collected them all here. Please redirect me if I should ask in another forum.
1. How can I stop the mouse scroll on the map on the location page? With a full-width map, I can’t scroll past it without zooming it. I’ve disabled it where I can find it, but I can’t locate the setting for disabling it for the location page here: http://adventurebrevard.com/location/
2. Can I remove or modify the gradient shadow on the top of the hover listing images, as you can see on this page: http://adventurebrevard.com/waterfalls/brevard/waterfall/moore-cove-falls/#post_map See attached image also. It makes it difficult to read the listing name.
3. I understand it’s possible to modify the transparent gray box with the listings on the map. Would you point me to documentation if it’s available please?
4. I enabled the Marker Cluster addon only because in one case I have two or three businesses/listings that share the same address, so the map icons are piled on top of each other on the map and can’t be read. Screenshot attached. That may not be the best solution. Suggestions?
Because I know you will come back and ask me for login info, I’ll post that in a private comment. 🙂
Many thanks for your help!

I’ll try to answer your questions accordingly.
1. I’ll forward this to a developer.
2. Use the custom CSS code below to remove it or set your own background color.
.geodir-bubble_desc h4 { background-color: none; background: transparent; }
3. Use this custom CSS to change the background color
.map-places-listing { background: #000; } .map_category { background: #000; }
4. I don’t think that’s a marker cluster. It should look something like this http://prntscr.com/c3fno9 . Can you share the link to the map marker issue?
Thanks!
August 9, 2016 at 10:00 am #243656#1. You set this in the widget settings for the map, for the details page tab you set it under GD>Design>Map>Disable mouse scroll (i have worded this setting better now and it will be in next release)

August 9, 2016 at 2:23 pm #243927Thanks Kor. Very very helpful.
Here’s one link for the businesses that are piled on top of each other on the map. (Bike category.)
http://adventurebrevard.com/bike/Here’s a question: If I don’t use the actual street address for the businesses but place the markers on the map near each other, can I avoid the pile up of icons on the map? (I disabled that feature.)
Stiofan: Thanks. I rediscovered the widget after posting, but it is disabled in the home page map widget AND on the details page map and the location map still scrolls with the mouse.
Thanks for your help!

August 9, 2016 at 3:50 pm #243967Hi Marsha,
The location map does not scroll for me anymore?
Markers being on top of each other is an inevitability, if you move the maker it will help but then ti will be in the wrong place 🙂 I have enabled a feature where hovering on the listing will bounce he map icon, this should help show people the exact marker for that place.

Thank you! It has stopped scrolling for me also.
So that’s what that feature is for! That makes sense now.
So I will disable the marker cluster because that doesn’t seem like the correct solution.
Many thanks for your quick help.

I’m not seeing the map icon bounce when I hover over the icon pile.
Advice?
Thanks again.

August 10, 2016 at 1:17 am #244231Hi Kor,
I added the css you kindly provided above to remove the gradient on the hover bubble, but I’m still seeing it.
Suggestions?
Many thanks!
Marsha
August 10, 2016 at 1:47 pm #244561The bounce only happens on the listings pages when you hover over the listing.
