Map – showing only those CPT's map locations when on diff' category

Hi there, I have the maps with the categories field whereby I can filter by choice, but is there any automatic way of changing the setting on the map so that when I drill down on CPT’s by category, the map then updates to show only those CPT’s in that category, rather than showing all of them? I have attached a screen shot to illustrate. I have filtered on one of the CPT categories that has three sub categories, but the map still shows all content.
