Map taking time to load

    My site is taking time to load especially the map. Is there a way to optimize the map and fix the load time of my website?

    Plus how can i remove the categories on the lower right of the map? See attached.

    Just FYI, is the map is taking a long time to load, probably the server is not powerful enough.

    I did several testing and the only problematic part is the map. Not only it’s taking time to load but sometimes its just blank. So right now i wouldn’t say its on server performance since its hosted to a good server but not removing it either for my to do list to check.

    Is this correct? I added this code {.map_category {display: none;}}.

    Saved and nothing happen..

    The code is 

    .map_category {display: none;}

    not 

    {.map_category {display: none;}}

    I added it at GD > design > scripts.

    Your map does not seem that slow to me.
