Map Troubles

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi guys – having trouble with map loading.

    Here’s what I’ve done:

    1. entered google API key
    2. set google API key under ‘select maps API’
    3. de-activated all plug-ins to test for conflicts (there don’t seem to be any)
    4. ran GDTools – found this (not sure if this is relevant or not):

    GeoDirectory Version: Deleted
    Payment Manager Version: Deleted
    GeoDirectory Framework Version: Not Found
    Advanced Search Version: Not Found
    Review Rating Manager Version: Deleted
    Claim Manager Version: Deleted
    CPT Manager Version: Not Found
    Location Manager Version: Deleted
    Events Manager Version: Not Found
    Upgrade/install scripts will run on next page reload.

    Any advice would be most appreciated!

    OK – just resolved it – no need to respond.

    1. I found your map plugin and installed it.
    2. Got a new google maps api
    3. Entered the code in both the plugin and the GD dashboard

    …works!

    Just FYI, all you needed was to generate a new API key via GeoDirectory > design > map.

    If now you have the working API key there, you can remove our other plugin. GeoDirectory includes all that and adding the API key twice is not a good idea.
