Geodirectory map appears to be working fine on staging, but not live…?

    Staging:
Notice this map shows only locations on the city I have selected:

    1. http://liveout.staging.wpengine.com/location/united-states/alaska-1/fairbanks/

    2. http://prnt.sc/cs99fs

    Live:
Notice how the same link on live site loads ALL U.S. listings:

    1. http://liveout.us/location/united-states/alaska-1/fairbanks/

    2. http://prnt.sc/cs99i9

***Also, it take a very long time to load this page – any thoughts on how to speed things up?

    Hi,

is wpengine caching system turned off in the live website?

It should, because it is not 100% compatible, especially with the Location Manager.

Let us know if that was the problem.

    Thanks

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for sharing the credentials. I’ve just checked your Website and I’m getting both same results when I visited the URL’s you’ve shared earlier. Did you manage to fix this? Let us know how it goes.

    Staging – http://prntscr.com/csk3ow
    Live – http://prntscr.com/csk3tp

    Thanks!

    WPEngine says:
“Ok, so what would be the best thing here is to see if the developer has a recommendation on what can be excluded from cache to make that work. Normally we can exclude a page, argument or cookie from cache that would allow this functionality to work. I was hoping to see if there is something specific we can exclude as to not affect your server’s health since you said you have so many locations. If each location was hit as an uncached hit that could easily take down your server depending on the amount of traffic the site gets”

    HI Scott,

I have applied to their developer program so i can try and get a staging account to check if we can work things out.
