menu bar – how to make full width please

    hi there, does anyone know how i can make the menu bar full-width – as in the colour to be 100% – but the actual menu items to stay as they are – if you know what i mean – please?

    It depends what theme you are using. Could you supply some more details, maybe in a private reply….

    with the current html structure it can’t be done.

    You’d have to copy header.php file inside your child theme and customize the html of it. Before being able to do that.

    You might be able to do it with a background image that you repeat horizontally…

    html.html_boxed {
    background: url(‘../wp-content/uploads/2014/07/background-line2.jpg’) repeat-x scroll left top #EEE;
    }

    I’m not familiar with the theme but there might be a section where the background can be set.

    Hi,

    you need to copy header.php from the GDF frame work and paste it in your child theme folder, than you need to tweak html and css to achieve your result.

    This is something you should know how to do by yourself. In case you are not, you should either chose a theme that doesn’t need to be customized to look like you want it, or hire a designer to do the customization for you.
