    Hello! It has become necessary to give the user the opportunity to choose the location as a country. You need to make sure that it is not distracted by the proposed location options in the location switch. You only need to make sure that it sees the country names. How can I do this with the location switch? Or would it be more beautiful to create a special menu with a list of countries? I plan to place it on the home page.

    What ideas can you have, do you have ready-made solutions or recommendations?

    I don’t think I’ve made the task clear. More precisely, it sounds like this: the user needs to see only the names of the countries in the country menu and not the cities. I’ll be happy with a few options:
    1) the user finds any country;
    2) the user can only find the country that we put on the list.
    In each case, it goes to the country location page.

    You will have to create your own menu or dropdown.

    Thanks

    Maybe you can show examples of such implementation?

    It is pretty simple to put together.

    1. Visit the location page of a country, copy the URL.
    2. Go to Backend – Appearance – Menus
    3. Add a custom item, Paste the URL and type the name
    4. Add the item to the menu
    5. Repeat for each one you want to add.

    I’ve been thinking about that option. But the mobile version of the menu is hidden and inexperienced users may not see the possibility to choose a country in this way for a long time. And how do you place a menu or drop-down list on the home page or in a widget?

    You can also use HTML and CSS
