ok found that for some reason all in one seo was pulling Kids Division ( which is one of your dummy posts ) and using the title as the meta title. I made the post a draft and it picked up the next one. I have made all of the posts draft and now its not using anything as the meta title, even though its specified. This is doing the same with yoast as well. I have never had plugin or theme issues using either seo tool. It seems like there is a conflict with geodirectory plugin, if you disable that then the plugins work. Can you please take a look at this as seo is obviously very important and your plugin is causing these issues.

Thanks,

January 22, 2015 at 6:43 pm #28509Hi michael,
The map bubble task is still set as a task and will be looked at soon.
The main SEO plugin we have been integrating with is this on: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/
Please give that a try and let me know if you still have any problems (i think they share some code but all their hooks have different names)
Thanks,
Stiofan
January 22, 2015 at 7:13 pm #28513I tried that yesterday and it does exactly the same. I have reactivated the plugin, added the meta data and as you will see from the meta title…. nothing. please feel free to login.

when you use an seo plugin for a wordpress theme, you add meta data like page title, keywords and a description amongst other things. You do this per page. When I load either wp seo or all in one seo, the home page information is not showing. By adding the wordpress title doesn’t mean that it’s working as the meta data is only showing the title and NOT the keywords or description, so it’s not working.
January 26, 2015 at 11:33 pm #28895Please advise to the fix
January 27, 2015 at 5:51 am #28903Just curious about something, since I think I ran into a similar thing. I recently started using yoast and am learning how it works.
-> Did you choose option to have geodirectory as your home page? Do you see what I am asking? When geodirectory is set as the default homepage as opposed to a page you created and set that as the home page.
January 27, 2015 at 5:05 pm #28962Hi bob.. yes I see what you mean. So I did have geodir as my home page, I disabled this and immediately the seo meta data was there, but obviously the my home page wasn’t how it should be, so I re enabled it and bingo.. the page now works with all in one seo and yoast. Well done and thanks
