migrating and backing up wp site with geodirectory

Hi I hope you can help me? I have been working with Geodirectory for a few weeks now on a development site. I have created several custom post types and quite a lot of packages relating to them. I have just cloned the site to try some design changes but none of the custom post types or packages have transferred.

I followed the same steps I do when migrating a wordpress site and that’s always works 100% fine, but I’m a bit worried that some much work has not transferred.

Menu, content, pages, plugins are there but no CPT, prices and packages or listings.

Is there a way of migrating a site properly?

Hi Andrew,

Well, if you go through this carefully, https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress , everything should be fine. Did you perform a search and replace using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/ ?
