Migrating Local GD to BlueHost

    Hello all,

    I’ve been trying to migrate the website I’ve been developing locally to Bluehost. Once I do everything I’m supposed to do, I get the front end to work just fine. However, when I try to access wp-admin, I get the error:

    The requested URL /gd-login/ was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Can anyone help me with this?

    Hi Gui,

    Thanks for your reply. Try using the default WP login page /wp-admin/ or /wp-login/ . If that doesn’t work, kindly share both WP admin and FTP access and we’ll check further.

    Hi Kor,

    Thanks for getting back to me. i was trying to do what you told me, but I had had no success. I tried then renaming the plugins folder, just to see if some plugin was keeping me from login in. I was then able to log in, and when I renamed the plugins folder back to its original name, everything continued to work just fine. Kinda weird, but it finally worked.

    However, on a side note, on my Listing and Search pages, every single page is being displayed (not only Places). I haven’t touched any of the core files, but for some reason this is happening.

    Any idea what that could be?

    I set your permalinks to post-name as described here:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/

    Now /gd-login/ works
