On my “add listing” page : http://printemps-education.org/annuaire/ajouter-un-acteur/?listing_type=gd_place
I have the address field, but not the country, region and town selection, and the map is not showing.
I have tried all combinations in “Place settings” -> “field Address”Thanks,
Marc.June 10, 2016 at 5:21 am #206314I have found that the fields are displayed with the “location manager” plugin ?
But without this plugin, how can a user set an address on the map ?
The map is not sowing after the “Address” field.
Thanks.June 10, 2016 at 7:08 am #206337You will need the location manager plugin if you want to have listings outside your default location.
If the map doesn’t show, there usually is a conflict with another plugin.
If you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, we’ll have a look at your settings.June 10, 2016 at 10:05 am #206377This reply has been marked as private.June 10, 2016 at 12:26 pm #206411Can you delete all caching files please, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/what-caching-plugin-can-i-use/
Also, your GD pages should not have a parent page, fix that too.
I also set your WP permalinks correct:https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames
Let us know if that fixes things or not.
June 10, 2016 at 3:58 pm #206502Thanks. Unfortunately, the map still doesn’t display. I have completely removed the wp super cache plugin following their removing instructions, moved all geodirectory pages to root and the permalinks are correctly setted…
June 10, 2016 at 11:19 pm #206691Hi,
there was this error caused by ubermenu:
You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&ver=4.5.2
Line 93I fiexed that by disabling ubermenu call to Google Maps API.
However it is still not showing up. Are the plugin network activated or activated for the single site within the network.
I can’t check, because the account is not network admin.
Let us know,
Thanks
Thanks
June 11, 2016 at 5:17 am #206766Thanks,
I have granted super admin privilege for network to your wordpress account.
What is strange is that the map works here : http://printemps-education.org/annuaire/
But the 3 Dummy data I have put doesn’t show on the map.
I have also tried with openstreetmap (“Select Maps API”) and on the add listing page the map still doesn’t show :
http://printemps-education.org/annuaire-ajouter-un-acteur/Thanks,
Marc.June 11, 2016 at 6:46 am #206797It all works fine for Events, so I am guessing there is a category or custom field with some bad character tripping things up.
You also cannot have multi countries with only a default region, but that is not the problem.Paolo will find it, I’m sure.
June 11, 2016 at 7:56 am #206802OK, thanks, you’re write.
So what is the bad character I should remove ?June 11, 2016 at 8:03 am #206805It might be that you pasted a letter with an accent or circumflex etc. You can try de-activating all custom fields you created and delete categories, OR wait for Paolo. He might spot it directly.
June 11, 2016 at 4:47 pm #206955Hi,
sorry to disappoint both of you, but I can’t find anything wrong. 🙁
I’ve asked to the developers to check directly, they’ll sure find what the problem is.
Thanks for your patience, theyll let us know asap.
June 11, 2016 at 6:37 pm #207023Thanks a lot for your help,
