Hi Kiran,
thank you very much for solving this big issue.
about 1 – missing listings in DE
Well this issue is still there, as on import files (deliverd above)
i.e. gd_accommodation_1206171426-IMPORT accommodation hotels are 4 german hotel included
Radisson Blu
The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin
The Circus
Hotel Adlon KempinskiBut actually only 2 displayed
The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin
Hotel Adlon Kempinski
the other 2 are still missing but have correct data in the importing file – screen shot – https://www.screencast.com/t/ICY9MeEqSame for file
gd_hospitality_1206171426 – IMPORT > screen shot – https://www.screencast.com/t/XoqykpFgK8APlease help to find out why.
about translation basket info
ok many thanks for info too – but actually I will not translate the most of them, as the user itself is requested to create listings in second language and after this is done I will match the link url by setting up within backend to connect languages via wpml settings.BR, Alex
P.S. Many thanks for debug info, I will report this to the web-admin
June 16, 2017 at 2:26 pm #383572Hi,
Let me provide these two CSV files as it is that you are importing. Also make sure these two listing translation should not be in Translation Basket.
Please try to re-save item from admin if it solves the problem. After getting CSV files i will try importing in my test site to check whether problem in CSV file or something else.

June 16, 2017 at 2:35 pm #383577Hi Kiran,
I am not at pc for next 2-3 hours to proceed with the same.
Q. How to get those items out of translation basket, if they are within?
BR, Alex
P.s. Those files are in zip file above delivered
June 18, 2017 at 8:08 am #383721Hello Kiran,
I have now been able to solve the issue by opening all missing listings one by one within GD (corresponding CPT), deleting category and re-save/update the listings.
Now all seems to work properly.
THANKS AGAIN for your help.
BR, AlexJune 18, 2017 at 9:19 am #383724Hello again,
but there is one issue I cannot understand. Within WPML String translations I found out, that custom fields which were translated from EN in DE there are now displayed within String translation with EN flag. I have now set the Flag for all german items in DE again to correct that which I already have done a few days ago but the strings amount (displayed on wpml string tranlsation) is rising and then used custom fields which were translated (I have done in 1. step according the instructions to tranlate customfields) and still they are show with EN flag again.
A.) WPML does not accept the translated content as EN text and display this then with wrong EN flag and set status (translation needed). WPML Strings in EN with DE translated content are added as translated content, but DE translated content is also additionally added as new strings in EN flag instead using the translated strings and shall then proper match with former translated content. Screen shot – https://nimbus.everhelper.me/client/notes/share/971104/1845diq6neamsny2bho4
Steps to reproduce:
I used,
1. the “core gd language” (geodirectory-en_EN.po) file, then
2. added with “custom fields exported” (db-language.php) from backend to establish the bigger customized gd language file, then
3. been translated into DE (geodirectory-en_EN.po) file and
4. been imported in WPML via string translation upload, is not working proper with WPML as the strings which were translated into DE are displayed with EN flag to be again and again displayed (need to translate) within WPML string translation. As well
B.) After combination (core & custom fields content “geodirectory-en_EN.po” and “db-language.php) to create customized language file, there are DE strings included and displayed as mixture content in EN and DE.
Those are already in EN existing and shall not been used again.
Screen shot – https://www.screencast.com/t/yWhRPEntDRPlease find the language files enclose, to may recheck.
Looking forward to your feedback.BR, Alex
June 19, 2017 at 6:14 am #383783Hi Alex,
For GeoDirectory custom fields translation if you are using WPML string translation plugin, then no need to import .po file to include those custom field translation into WPML string translation. Just running a GD Tools > Custom Field Translation will auto registers all the custom fields in WPML String Translation for the translations.
I have create a sample field “Enus” under GD > Place Settings > Custom Fields.
– Entered title “Enus” and saved.
– Run tool from GD Tools > Custom Field Translation
– At WPML > String Translation entered “Dede” for German translation for “Enus” text.
– Ticked translation complete > Save
and it worked fine form me. Please check screenshots attached.Check this for more info: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/
Not sure what is problem with wrong flag with some strings as you mentioned A) & B). But i recommends to enter custom field texts in EN language and you should be on EN language(in top admin bar) in backend when you run a tool from GD Tools > Custom Field Translation.
Let us know.
Thanks,
KiranJune 19, 2017 at 2:57 pm #383905Hi Kiran,

I have now additionally forward this info to the WPML support
> https://wpml.org/forums/topic/email-is-not-being-translated-accordingly

June 20, 2017 at 5:56 am #383974Hi again,
I additionally found out that there seems again to be bug, as some links of DE version is not forwarding to DE approach. Those links are wrong while trying to
1. upgrade link a listing within DE version, then forward to EN upgrade instead of DE approach.

Again thanks for pointing this out.
It could be that I have used the duplicate option for translation done in backend on listing itself.
How you did the translation, by creating 2 new listing and match them later as translated version in backend?
BR, Alex
June 20, 2017 at 9:44 am #383984I have created both listing from backend.
– In backend on EN language go Hospitalities > Add New
– Entered all the listing data > Publish
– Once saved, to add translation for this listing click on “+” sign under the Language metabox (in right sidebar)
– It will open new page, on this page click on “Copy content from English” button found under the Language metabox (in right sidebar)
– Enter data for blank fields > Publish
That’s it.Let us know.
