In the place details page, in the tab for “More Info”, what information is supposed to get displayed? How do we edit that?
May 25, 2016 at 9:52 pm #198170The more info tab will show all extra custom fields you choose to show there.

Let us know if you need more clarification.
May 26, 2016 at 2:41 pm #198658Ok thank you, I found it.
May 26, 2016 at 2:54 pm #198663One more question, there are options in the custom post fields to add info to the detail page sidebar and then in the theme widgets there are options to add things to the detail page sidebar. The info that is currently displaying in the sidebar is not coming from either of these, just confused as to where the sidebar is getting pulled from.
May 26, 2016 at 3:18 pm #198673Hi,
there is also a custom widget area.
“The info that is currently displaying in the sidebar is not coming from either of these”
What info are we talking about? A link would help understanding.
Let us know,
Thanks
May 27, 2016 at 1:29 pm #199160I prefer not to always put my link up. The place listing detail page – in the right sidebar lists the following:
*Edit this Post
Favorite
Expire date: NeverI don’t know how to edit this sidebar. When I go into my WordPress widgets, in the GD Detail Sidebar Widget area, the only thing I have is “Business Hours”, which I would love to show – but doesn’t.
In the HOME PAGE LAYOUT SETTINGS, I have the Home right section as SHOWING.
I have the GD Directory home page set to GD Home Page in the Permalinks. How do I access the widgets in the Place Detail Sidebar? Thanks…
May 27, 2016 at 5:29 pm #199248Hi,
you can disable default elements of detail page sidebar (they are not widgets) in design >> detail.
For example to hide :
Edit this Post
Favorite
Expire date: NeverYou want to select: Disable User Links section
To see why the business hours widget isn’t showing what it should, I’d need to check your website.
You can leave link and credentials in private reply that only our staff can read.
Thanks

May 28, 2016 at 7:14 pm #199690I am coming from Geo Themes and converted to Geo Directory so maybe that’s why?
May 28, 2016 at 11:19 pm #199725If that was a GT widget that should not have come across, I’ll check with Paolo.
May 29, 2016 at 4:41 pm #199901OK Thanks, but I’m also hoping my question here gets resolved soon 🙂

May 29, 2016 at 9:53 pm #200014There is some custom code added that is hiding the content your sidebars on the detail pages. I can see there is some styling added for the sidebars but I cannot find the problem.
Widgets in GD Home Right are working fine.

I added a text widget to your detail sidebar and that works as expected. The Business hours widget isn’t a GD widget.
It comes from the “Social Contact Display” plugin that has nothing to do with our products.
Thanks
