Moving Categories To New Post Type

    Hi there,

    I just bought the custom post type add-on and am having trouble migrating my categories over from the Place Post Type to the new ‘Part’ Post Type. There are 49 Categories of Parts that need to get migrated and all have SEO info and pictures that I don’t want to manually move over. Is there a shortcut to this process?

    Hello!

    You can certainly export the categories. Try that and review the CSV export. Of course that won’t grab all the meta data from other plugins, but it will give you a good start.
