Multi Location Default Behaviour

Please can you clarify the default behaviour for a multilocation site

Lets say I have multiple cities and countries, I need a user to always be able to have a map starting point e.g. London

From the multilocation plugin it seems that they can only get to the default start point once?

Home Page Results
Home Page Results Show default location results on home page (First time only, if geodirectory home page is your site home page and user comes to home page).
Show everywhere location results on home page (First time only, if geodirectory home page is your site home page and user comes to home page).

With a default city set, e.g. London then the user goes to Bangkok, they are stuck in Bangkok when they hit the home page button.

Is this the default behaviour? In a global directory there needs to be a default landing page that the user can always reach via hitting home and which can be used to market the directory. If im marketing in multiple countries the default landing page is my showcase.

I may have missed how to set this up but cant see a way to do it.

Is it possible to configure a default map starting point and/or default city that is the homepage?
