Hello,
I am following up on a thread that I started a few months ago. We are continuing to have the problem, and I think I am closer to understanding what is going on.
Please read my original post first here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/random-country-added-and-continued-need-to-merge-locations/
I do believe this is happening because of the Social Importer. Even though we have every restriction toggled on for the Add Listing page – moving the map pin doesn’t change the location typed into the listing, etc – it seems that when using the Social Importer, these restrictions are overridden.
Instead of merging the locations immediately so that the listings are available on the site, I’ve left them unmerged for your troubleshooting purposes.
The double locations that need to be merged are for:
Fredikersted, St. Croix
Christiansted, St. Croix
Red Hook, St. Thomas
Is there anything we can do to keep the Social Importer from automatically putting the “wrong” location on the map and giving us duplicate entries in our database that need to be merged on a daily basis?

Thank you!
