    Hi,

The most crucial feature for us is guidance for visitors when submitting reviews. We need to have more than a text box and star rating. At least we need to be able to add descriptions to the ratings so we can explain what the user will be rating exactly.

Second, it would be a better user experience if we can make it a multipage process where we can decide what goes on what page (multiratings, text review and possibly even additionally questions). Are you considering such extensions? Or would be a complex customisation to add this to v2?

    thanks for the feedback

Multiratings, text review and additional questions are possible with combining

I think this is the first time someone asks for reviews to be multi-page. Most reports are that the review process is to be as simple as possible, or you might not get too many.

I’ll get the developers to have a look at your question too.

    ok thanks. To clarify:

What we want to add is an explanation to the multiratings of WPGeoDirectory. If you have a rating “Cleanliness” or “Pricing” everybody knows what it means, but as we are creating a specialist site, we need to have some room to include an explanation. Just one or more sentences that appear in the frontend and give guidance to the review process. This description could be displayed under the title of the ratings, or as a popup when hoovering over a question mark icon. At the moment the add-on allows to specify a title and image, but not a description.

The multi-page thing is just nice to have. As the fill-out form would become big, multiple pages would not be overwhelming for the reviewer. But as I said, it’s nice to have. As an example, AirBnB uses this to break down the review proces.

The further description for reviews has never been requested before so i’m not sure its something we would look at adding, however this could be done pretty easy with some simple CSS content.
