Hi all, i got a small issue… i’m using the last features of the last release.

i added 2 cpt listing traducted in two languages (ita + eng).
then i exported it like a CSV file.
i canceled the listing from geodirectory
i imported the CSV file previously exported.

It gave me the following error message:

4 / 4 item(s) could not be added due to blank title/invalid post type.

The title and post type are present and correct.

    Can anyone help to understand?

    Thanks

If you want to add new listings you need to NOT have a post_id set.

mmm… the column “original_post_id” i suppose to be there to point to the original post that has been translated…

    So:
if i set up a whole new database, and i can’t use post_id in the new database, how can i “explain” geodirectory that 3 new listings (One original and 2 translated) are only one translated?

The dev who did this part is finished for the day but i assume you would need the original post id first as suggested

So import original and then get the id’s from and export etc..

As far as I know, you can only import translation for listings that are already in the system, because logically you need the ID.

You can’t import the original and the translations during the same import.

Just like with categories. Gvein that you need the category name in the system before importing, categories must be created in advance. The logic is the same.

    Thanks

Dev confirms this is the case.
