Multinews Search box – not recognizing gd posts – compatibility issue?

    wp 4.4.2
    latest gd directory plugin
    latest multinews theme
    installed 30 demo gd listings

    i have the Audacious Freedom demo listing, and i entered freedom as the search term, but the multinews search box said Sorry, No Posts Matched Your Criteria, but i then clicked the return button anyway and got relevant search results that all contained freedom in either the title or the listing descriptions

    in other words, the multinews search thing is not seeing the gd posts but when triggered the multinews searching does find it

    might there be a way for multinews to see the gd listings as the visitor is typing in their search term(s)?

    Both the GD Search and the normal WP search will find that listing.
    I suggest you check with the theme author how to include custom post types in their search.
