    Hi,
I’ve recently noticed that listings that are assigned to multiple categories are accessible via multiple urls, for example:

    https://www.dancelifemap.com/classes-studios/romania/judetul-constanta/mangalia/salsa/salsa-mi-vida/
    https://www.dancelifemap.com/classes-studios/romania/judetul-constanta/mangalia/rueda/salsa-mi-vida/
    https://www.dancelifemap.com/classes-studios/romania/judetul-constanta/mangalia/bachata/salsa-mi-vida/

They all are the same listing.
Does this cause duplicate content issue? What is the best way to handle it?
    Thank you.

    Hi Roman,

Could you please provide an access to the backend so that we could check on the settings?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

that is how WordPress work, if you assign a post (or listing) to multiple categories or tags it will appear under different URLs, however the canonical URL will make sure that Google knows it’s not a case of duplicate content.

In that case the canonical URL is https://www.dancelifemap.com/classes-studios/romania/judetul-constanta/mangalia/salsa/salsa-mi-vida/

    Thanks
