    Hi there

Is there a short-code to my listings.

For example… once a member claims their listing and it is approved. Are they able to edit their listing once logged in?

I have a members area login page but can’t find a way to display their listings in that section.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Many Thanks
    Lucy

    Hi Lucy,

that’s how it works, the listing owner can modify his listings.

If you add the loginbox widget on any of your sidebars, when logged in you will see the links to access your listings.

    Please see here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation

The part about: USER DASHBOARD POST TYPE NAVIGATION SETTINGS

    Thanks

Sorry one last question on this… if I wanted to create my own button to ‘my listings’ as I’m using the wordpress login system (because I need to hold documents in the member’s area) is there a link I can use that will direct users to their own listings?

I added the login box so I could use the link and and can see the link is individual for example…. http://www.webaddress.com/author/rogermorley/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place.

Just wondered if there is a link I can use that will detect the logged in client and direct them.

    Thanks again!!

that will require custom code because it will be dynamic.

    for admin

    yoursite.com/author/admin/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place

The variable is the username of the logged in user.

so if the logged in user is : paolo the url will be:

    yoursite.com/author/admin/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place

If you are suing more than one CPT the last part becomes dynamic too.

    example:

    yoursite.com/author/admin/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_event

    This require custom PHP code.

    Thanks
