When i disable yoast primium it stops the redirect, so i guess there is some setting there for author pages? I have never used the primium ver so i am not familiar with the settings, please let us know what you find.

It should not be in test mode if you expect live payments.
Did u receive the payment in stripe? If so you should set the invoice as complete. For the redirect, i would assume its just a setting, i would check those first.
Let me know how i can help more.
Thanks,

July 18, 2017 at 8:39 pm #387610I am having the same issue at my site. Only other plugin I have installed is the free Yoast. Otherwise everything is GD plugins.
Update: It seems to work when I disable Yoast. Any work around this so both GD and Yoast can work together?
/MichaelJuly 19, 2017 at 1:32 pm #387694Hi Michael,
Thanks for letting us know, as multiple people have not reported it i rand some tests and found that if you run the setup wizzard and on the screen where it asks you “Does, or will, your site have multiple authors?” If you set this to “NO” it will cause this issue, i guess if you say there will be no users it redirects the authors pages to home.
This setting only seems to be in the setup wizzard, i could not see it in the regular settings. Thanks,
Stiofan
July 28, 2017 at 12:20 am #388771I just received an email from Yoast about this. I”m not sure what it means or if it’ll help to resolve the issue, but according to them, “We are writing to inform you that our developers have replied regarding this issue: Enabling Author archives in Yoast SEO -> Titles & Metas -> Archives solves the problem. The GeoDirectory uses the author pages to display the places selected by a user. We are not able to solve this, solving this would mean changing the way the GeoDirectory plugin works.”
July 28, 2017 at 10:13 am #388802Yes, basically if you dont have author archives enabled then you can’t view authors and authors cant view their profiles so you need that active.

July 28, 2017 at 12:07 pm #388823So is this a case of conflicting terminologies then? In WordPress, a user how has “author” status can write posts, whereas general “users” can just register and use the site freely. As of now, a user doesn’t need “author” status to create listings or favorites lists, which is why I said “no” to the Yoast settings. Does that sound accurate?
July 28, 2017 at 12:14 pm #388825It has nothing to do with user roles “subscriber, author, editor, admin etc”
It basically a setting for enabling/disabling the users pages, if its disabled, its not going to work 🙂Stiofan
