Great, thank you Giri.
That worked. I renamed the ‘places’ slug to something else. That is strange how that got changed because I don’t recall changing the default ‘places’ post type.
Any ways, now my issue is that when I go to mylisting->service from the dashboard it puts me into the boddypress settings page which has a tab for “Listings”. When I click on the “Listings” tab two other tabs appear below, “Places” and “Services”. The “Places” tab is highlighted by default and is says “There were no places found”, you need to go to the side and click on “Services” tab to actually see the list of listings.
This could be confusing to users, they don’t know about “Places” and “Services” tags. So when they click on “Listings” and see a message that says “There are no places found”, they could think that there are no listings and might not know to click on the “Services” tab to see the listings.
Is there a way to remove the “Places” tab?, that way there is no confusion and the default will be “Services” when the “Listings” tab is clicked.
If the above is not possible, is there a way to at least make the default be “Services” instead of “Places” when someone clicks on “Listings”?
Thank you.
