Dear Support,
I am trying to change the “NAVIGATION LOCATIONS”. I have three navigation locations for my site
Primary – main
Secondary – top
Footer – FooterSince I was not using the footer menu, i was going to use that for the multi-location search function, but when I select it, it does not show the tool. This is the same when I select the secondary menu also. If i select the primary menu it show the tool.
From the wording this seems broken, as it seems like you can select all the menus you want to display the tool.
Can you help.
Thank you

I’ve just enabled the location switcher on the footer in GD > Design > Navigation. Could you please check and see if it’s what you’re looking for?
Thanks!
February 15, 2017 at 6:24 am #361651Dear Kor,
Sorry but that is not what I meant.
If you go to the following page (http://tstde.com/demo2/find-an-artist/)
You will see the grey bar above the search. I have the page set to use the footer menu in that area, but as you can see it will not show the footer menu. It will not show secondary also. It will only show the the GD directory items if you select primary as the menu to show there.
I hope that explains better what i meant.
Dave.

I know how to place things in the footer menu, but when I place the nav search in that menu it will not show up. It will only show up if I place the primary menu in that location.Does that make sense?

February 16, 2017 at 9:38 pm #362107Hi,
GeoDirectory is doing what it is supposed to do, currently you have the GD links selected to appear in secondary menu and footer menu and it is showing the links in both.
How do you select a menu to appear in that gray bar? If the answer is with Divi options, then you’ll have to ask for support to the guys at elegantthemes.com
Thanks
February 17, 2017 at 2:38 am #362164Dear Paolo and Kor,
Ok, I think i was not explaining it well enough. Let me try again. If you go to the site.
http://tstde.com/demo2/find-an-artist/You will see above the search there are two menu’s. The one in grey is the footer menu and the one in white is the primary menu.
In The GeoDirectory navigation section i have primary and footer menu selected, which is needed to show the GeoDirectory menu items. Eg Listing, Add Listing, Change location.
If i remove the primary menu and the just keep the footer menu in that location, the GeoDirectory menu items will disappear. If i remove the footer menu and just keep the primary the GeoDirectory menu will stay and work fine.
Does this make more sense?
Dave.
February 17, 2017 at 7:06 pm #362325Hi DG,
the footer menu is down below in the footer. I tested it if you leave only the Footer menu it will appear in the footer.
The menu in the grey box is not referenced as footer menu in the system, you must have added it via theme options?
Let us know,
Thanks
February 28, 2017 at 6:51 am #364306Dear Paolo,
Thank you for explaining that, I will make those changes to the theme.
Thank you again for helping.
Cheers
