Currently you can check the “Near Me” box and execute a search prior to the API pinpointing your location.

If the search is executed prior to the location being set, it will sometimes return a JS error and other times just return a list of locations which is ordered by the last entered – not near me.

We should use JS/AJAX when Near Me is checked and only allow the search to be executed if the location has been found – otherwise wait – or prompt the user to wait until the browser has identified their location.
