Near Me search – user position does not change on new search

Hi there.
I seem to be having a problem with the Near Me search ‘user position’ not refreshing very quickly?
When initially using the ‘near me’ search, this finds my location and shows it on the map. (and returns search results etc.)
If say traveling in a car and have traveled a few miles (or even walked several blocks) and and click on search again, my location does not seem to change/ update immediately ?
I have tried turning on and off the near me, tried using the ‘near me widget’ , tried re-refreshing, closing the page and re- opening and nothing works….until… some time has passed (say 5-10 mins) and then if you re-try it changes you position?
This almost seems like its caching the position ?
Is there a way to change a setting to allow an immediate update of my (or any users) position immediately upon searching again? or any reason why this is happening?
