Hi,
you are using the latest version of the core plugin with outdated add-ons.
Please update everything and let us know if the problem goes away.
Thanks
April 2, 2016 at 2:32 pm #156121I have activated the license through auto update but when I am trying to update the add ons I receive the following message:
An error occurred while updating GeoDirectory Location Manager: Download failed. SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name ‘wpgeodirectory.com’
How am I suppose to fix this?
April 2, 2016 at 5:31 pm #156260Hi,
whenever we saw that error, it was due to an old version of openssl installed on the server where the plugin was running. With that version of openssl, you couldn’t even accept payments via Paypal.
You will need to ask to your hosting provider to verify if the openssl version installed on that server is up to date and if it isn’t to please udpate it.
We wrote a blog post about this few months ago: https://wpgeodirectory.com/paypal-sha-256-compliance-and-what-it-means/
Let us know if this helped,
Thanks
April 3, 2016 at 9:24 pm #156921Hi, I’ve been using the GD Modern theme which was working perfectly until I decided that I’d try to see what it would look like with the new Supreme theme. After activating Supreme I wanted to switch back to Modern, but now all my images have disappeared and have been replaced with a default image icon…Can anybody help?
April 3, 2016 at 10:36 pm #156959Hello again, further to my problem earlier…I’ve got all my images again, I had enable the image hotlink protection in my cPanel! All fine once disabled again.
Many thanks… Mark
April 4, 2016 at 3:21 am #156972Hello, first of all great theme but I have several questions
1. I noticed that the right sidebar dose not show up for all pages ie add on plugins or admin created pages just footer. How can I fix this?
2. the GD advertisement functions displays the ads at the footer and not rightside bar. they did for the forst day but now shows at the bottom even if I paste them in text boxes.
3. The search feature dose not show up on all pages which a user would have to return to the homepage to start their search over. What are the steps to correct these issues?
April 4, 2016 at 2:41 pm #157244Hi,
I contact with my hosting provider and ask them to update the SSL and I receive this
Please try using a newer version of php to have compiled the latest openssl module. Apparently the certificate showing
the remote site based on authority certification was not added to the openssl version you use.So is there anyway to update the plugins?
April 4, 2016 at 5:39 pm #157494Hi @mcclocal,
1) pages and blog posts are full width by design. You’ll need to customize the templates to add a sidebar. Or you can use a page builder to play with the full width page.
2) We would need to see this, please provide a URL where we can see it.
3) Search is a widget that you can add anywhere you like from appearance >> widgets.
Thanks
April 4, 2016 at 5:41 pm #157496Hi @Konstantinos,
what version of PHP are you using? Is it possible to change it from your hosting control panel in case you are using an old version of PHP?
Being server realted, this is something that only your hosting provider can help you with…
If they are not willing to assist you with this, you should consider moving to a better hosting company.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
April 12, 2016 at 1:15 pm #161971Added a tagline “Florida’s Riviera” to City-Sunny Isles Beach and this is how it displays>
Florida’s Riviera
http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/united-states/florida/sunny-isles-beach/Q: Why the backward slash?
April 12, 2016 at 5:26 pm #162114Florida’s Riviera
should be
Florida’s Riviera
Use the single quote, not the curly one.
Thanks
April 14, 2016 at 1:36 pm #163303Is this possible to do in the Supreme Directory? The selected location of user beaming in blue?
http://wpgeo.directoryApril 14, 2016 at 2:05 pm #163324Your site is already set up for that, see image.
April 14, 2016 at 2:09 pm #163329Cool! I had seen it! Thanks Guust!
Why is the image displaying?
http://www.supremecityguides.com/location/me/I added this image when I created a Shopping Category! ?????
April 14, 2016 at 2:15 pm #163334You added a large image instead of a small icon to your shopping category. I think Paolo already pointed that out before.
