After following the online guides to install geodirectory onto my site I have encountered nothing but hassle – the guides resemble nothing like real world screens. How does this give me confidence to spend hard earned cash when the pre sales question box asks me to register for a forum. Update your YouTube video to reflect an upto date installation guide please. Yes I am very frustrated and would like to see if I get some support prior to seeing if my hard earned cash would be wasted.

That video is indeed fairly old now, that is why we put the warning above it: ” Some steps and screenshots in the video are for older versions of GD, please also review the rest of the article.”
Lots of improvements have been made since that video was made.

Maybe it is time to retire the video or to make a new one. I’ll discuss this with the others.

All other information on https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/ should be correct and up-to-date, let us know if you need clarification.
