I just moved from WPBD plugin to GDv2 and have imported 2700+ listings.
    Here’s a summary of the issues I’m having…

    – Locations page shows map and list, but when I click into category view the archive page is blank when listings active.
** No javascript errors in Chrome console or PHP errors on server.

    – If I set all the listings to “pending review”, the archive page appears correctly with search/filter layout (no listings)

    – I have a constant error at top of GD admin pages saying “There are duplicate slugs found for some locations. Go to GoeDirectory > Status > Tools & run a tool Fix location duplicate slugs to fix duplicate slugs”.
** When I run the fix slugs tool, the page says the tool has been run, but the slugs error doesn’t go away

    Hi Lorenzo,

Thanks for your message. Could you check your Website permalinks? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/permalinks/#404 . If that doesn’t work, share your Website WP admin access here in private reply and we’ll troubleshoot this further for you.

    Hello,

I am seeing an error on /wp-admin/, please check that and let us know, as we cannot login.

    About the issues you report

    1. Try running the tool to clear version numbers:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/status/#clear-version

    2. Try the next tool to redo term counts
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/status/#term-counts

    3. If the countries table is missing, make sure you have the correct V2+ verion of location manager addon. If all else fails, delete that and reinstall.

Once you check the wp-admin issue and try the above we can take another look.

Regarding the countries table, the error states “wp_2_countries: ❌ Table does not exist” – as I’m running multisite and the site with GD is ID 2.
wp_countries exists in the database though

    Hi,

wp_2_countries: ❌ Table does not exist

That table wouldn’t belong to GeoDirectory. All our table are prefixed with wp_geodir_

That makes me assume that you had another directory plugin installed too? That’s were the duplicate slugs maybe coming from?

If that’s possible, I’d try to install GD on a clean database to see if the problem persists.

If it does, please provide FTP and phpmyadmin (or cpanel) credentials. we’ll make sure to help you fix the problem.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Yes, I had WPBD installed (businessdirectoryplugin.com) which I mentioned in my initial post.

I’ll try the re-install if that appears to be the only solution in this case.

Another solution would be to delete everything that plugin added to your db, but that could be a harder thing to do.

    Thanks

I managed to attempt the plugin deletion/database cleanup first – I have been able to get the duplicate slugs error to go away.
I still have blank screen/entry issues with my current Divi theme/settings, but switching to twenty-nineteen theme everything appears to be working correctly.
So I’m going to attempt a fresh Divi theme install

BTW, the Geodir “Remove Data on Uninstall” option when removing the plugin did not work in my case, all geodir listings, categories and settings were retained when I deleted the plugin.

With Divi you will need to create the Archive and Search pages with Divi builder.
