Admittedly I haven’t touched GeoDirectory for several months but returned to work on it yesterday. I haven’t touched a thing since buying the whole enchalotta program last year. Despite that things are not going well now.
The first issue is with categories. Before when I added a listing I selected the primary category, for example, Retail, then the subcategory, such as Grocery Store. Now after I accept the default category Retail I can’t add the sub because it says I have a limit of one. Why? I changed various settings in desperation but nothing worked. I need to be able to select sub categories on the listings I add plus I need to have clients be able to do the same.
Second issue is the map zoom on my home page. Before it was set to 14 and showed my primary region perfectly. Now it suddenly shows all of Mexico and no matter what I change the zoom level to it never shows correctly now. I’ve also spent at lease an hour researching trying to find where I set the default location. I know I had set it before but there is no setting anywhere to set it now.
Appreciate any help.
January 4, 2019 at 4:56 pm #461520Hi Gary,
did you want to share the site URL?
Have you removed the premium addons?January 4, 2019 at 5:01 pm #461521My apologies. https://ajijictoday.com.mx/business-directory/
I haven’t touched a thing for months. All the add-ons are still active. Did you want my credentials?
January 4, 2019 at 5:30 pm #461527You need to renew your membership to get support.
Thanks
January 4, 2019 at 5:38 pm #461530Sorry. I thought I was just posting in the forum?
January 4, 2019 at 5:40 pm #461531You are posting in the forum to get Support.
Support for websites with add-ons installed is provided exclusively to active members.
Thank you
January 4, 2019 at 6:37 pm #461549So where do I post the questions for the community forum?
January 4, 2019 at 7:05 pm #461553This is the official support forum for our plugins and the community is here to get support, not to provide it.
You can try posting in places where people provide free support for WordPress in general, like https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/ however I doubt you will get much help, because your questions are specific to our premium plugins and they’ll probably tell you to ask support to us.
Thanks
January 4, 2019 at 7:15 pm #461556I am SO confused. I’ve used GeoDirectory for years. I bought the entire package last year for the first time. Some of my earlier posts for support are dated 2015 and I never had any issues getting support. Has this changed now? The hundreds of posts can’t all be from paid members, can they?
January 4, 2019 at 7:26 pm #461558You can get support for the free plugin as an expired or free member. Not for a site with premium add-ons installed.
Our pricing page or individual add-ons pages are very clear about this:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/
$99 Each 4 months/ $199 Each 12 months / $129 Each 6 months
Q: What happen if I cancel my subscription or my non recurring plan ends, will the plugins stop working?
A: The plugins will continue to work, you will no longer have access to support and updates for them. In such case you should avoid updating anything else, which is the only thing that could create new conflicts.
Thanks
January 4, 2019 at 7:41 pm #461561Sorry. I don’t mean to drag this on but my questions only relate to the free version, asking about sub categories and the home page map, not anything to do with all my add-ons. Where can I ask these questions in the community forum?
