New listings from all CPT

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Is there a way to show all the latest listings from all the custom post types – I don’t seem to be able to find the solution to this.

    I want the home page to show the last ‘x’ number of listings from the last ‘x’ days.

    Hi,

    currently it is not possible. Quering multiple custom post type in a single widget could be slow, especially if you have a lot of them.

    In any case you could try by modifing the query of the widget “popular post view” to include all post types.

    Thanks for the pointers appreciated – You say currently is this a widget that is likely to be added?

    Whilst I can see your logic regarding the query being slow I would imagine that there are many people who need to show new posts from all CPT’s

    Not at the moment, but you can vote for the request made in the feedback system:

    Allow Widgets to Span Custom Post Types (last of page 3).

    Currently only has 3 votes.
