New Places, details not showing

    Hi, I am a new customer of GeoDirectory.
    I installed GeoDirectory, then the Addon for additional Locations. I made a few entries and when I tried to View them, they work fine until i click for details, then I get 404 page not found. The URL has the correct details ie /places/place name
    I have already attempted resetting the Permalinks but it did not work for me.
    Please can you advise.

    Try resaving the permalinks, and also, if you haven’t alreayd, use the full location in the URL

    I have already reset and resaved the permalinks as i stated, is there something i am doing wrong? I changed the permalik saved them and then went back to the original and saved. I still don’t see any details.

    Sorry but I am pretty basic when it comes to this stuff and I really don’t understand the second part ie. use the full location in the url.
    The url shows the website/places/place name, what is the full url?

    Hi Alex,
    I am not sure how but I have just checked again and all appears to be working now! possibly a cache thing?
    sorry to have wasted your time but i did check it a number of times!

    No doubt I will be back here again when I mess something else up!
