I have notices to update GD to 1.2.7 and a whole bunch of addons. Should I do this or is this still just for advanced users?
Thanks
StaceyDecember 16, 2014 at 9:48 pm #24580Hi Stacey,
These have been released into the wild now, they have been tested by our beta testers over the last few days and all known bugs have been fixed, it shoudl be good to go, if you find anything we will fix and update it ASAP.
Thanks,
Stiofan
December 16, 2014 at 10:30 pm #24587update should say to version 1.3.0 though, not 1.2.7…
Just FYI
December 16, 2014 at 11:22 pm #24596Where do I post problems – just update GD core and now I have no locations (No Records Found) for everything!
December 17, 2014 at 12:10 am #24608Please post wp-admin details here, it might be a case u need to go to the GD Tools and run the database check.

December 17, 2014 at 12:11 am #24609Hi,
please read here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/release-of-gd-core-1-3-and-all-addons/
***IMPORTANT*** This update includes major database changes to allow multisite compatability, becasue of this you should update all GD addons after you update core. If you experience any problems after update you should visit the GD Tools section and run the database check.
Thx

December 17, 2014 at 12:48 am #24616When I first went to the site the menu was fine. when I click on Add List (then on a sub add listing item) it brought up the Add Listing Page but then the whole submenu was in the menu bar. So It look like the Primary “Add Listing” link disappeared??? What would cause this?
I have gone to the Menu and see that the all the sub menu item are now main menu items, but don’t understand why this happened.
Isn’t the “Add New Listing” button a GD feature/button??
December 17, 2014 at 12:52 am #24618i can only guess that fixing the templates deleted the add listing page which then when it added it back it was a new id and the menu did not know what to do. it should be fine if u just add them back now.
Thanks,
Stiofan
December 17, 2014 at 1:13 am #24619OK so I have it fixed. Now I have noticed another issue. It looks like a compass icon or something but it is like in the middle of nowhere along the left side about half way down the page.
It seems to be on all pages (except add listing or details pages) including the home page
December 17, 2014 at 10:07 am #24660do u have smome sort of cache running? my changes are not taking effect so i can’t help.

December 17, 2014 at 12:22 pm #24681I had CDN active on the site…could this be the problem???
I disabled it.
I don’t know of any other caching on the site Wordfence has been disabled for a long time.
Can you try again?
Thanks
StaceyDecember 17, 2014 at 12:44 pm #24683yes that was it, i have fixed it now, is there anything else?

December 17, 2014 at 12:53 pm #24684Thank you.
I have been taking a peak at my virtual pages – my add listing page does not look correct. It just looks like a regular page. Is that the way it is suppose to be??
I redid the menu, but set the add listing page to default to Add Dog Park.
I just want to make sure it is set up right
Thank you as always
