    I’m new to Geodirectory and have had a really hard time understanding how to set everything up.

    Within the past hour, the detail page for a listing is showing the exact same content as the Home page. I cannot figure out why or how to reverse this.

    I believe it had to do with permalinks?

    I changed permalinks to have the longest version with the country, etc., and just unselected all those extra options in the permalinks. This might be the beginning of the issue.

    Help is much appreciated.

    So, I think this is about the widgets and the display settings, not related to permalinks.

    I don’t know what I did, but the detail view came back, but then on trying to improve how it looked, I made it go away again. Still, not sure what is going on.

    Widget areas all have content.

    You will need to give us a few URLs of the pages you are talking about and your admin details (in a private reply).
    Are you using some sort of caching? Because you should not (except GD Booster).

    Your permalinks were not set to postname:

    You had moved the GD template pages (add listing, preview etc) as a subpage of the location page. I restored them.

    Your location and listings pages were both using “classes” as a slug. That cannot work. Fixed.

    Ah, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! But some follow-up questions:

    1) I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME figure out how to get some space on the sides / margins in the CONTENT (not header and footer) area. It goes ALL the way to the left and right. Have searched your documents, have searched the forums, internet in general, have tried playing with PHP templates. Best I could do was change the Theme Compatibility Pack, but that makes my footer not full-width and it doesn’t seem to stick or work.

    2) What is best CSS class to modify to get description text bigger on that page?

    I added this to GD > design > scripts > css

    #geodir-wrapper {
        width: 1170px;
        margin: auto;
    }
