    Hi,

I’ve tried to add a map with a listing, using this shortcode [gd_listing_map category=”2439,2440″ autozoom=true zoom=”13″ scrollwheel=true], but I can’t get it to work. I only get “No Records Found” message. What could be wrong?

Another thing.. I created a topic in the Multilocations Add-on forum after I bought it, but now suddenly I can’t access it and reply to my topic anymore?

    Hi,

I thought your problem were the wrong formatted double quotes used (″), but even with correct double quotes (“), it doesn’t work as expected.

The developers have been alerted and they’ll let us know asap.

    Thanks

Okay, so it’s not working at your end either then? I just tried adding it as the simple [gd_listing_map] shortcode, and even that didn’t work for me. Must be something else also that stops it from working..

Thanks, I got back in now!

I figured out now why it wouldn’t work. I tried to add it on a normal page, and that doesn’t work it seems after I did a search around here. That, sadly, is a deal breaker to me.. With the way I’ve built my website and how it all ties together, I need to have the maps on normal pages.. As the maps and directory are just a couple of many features that makes a whole.. Seems I need to revert back to another directory plugin to build my site and stick with some of its (a bit less) limiting features. Sometimes I wish one could take all the different directory plugins and mash them together and have one with all features.

    Thanks for your help though!

That is not correct, in the last release we added the shortcode parameters cpt & category to allow the map to be used on any page.

The developers will let you know asap.

    Thanks

Ah.. Okay! Good to know! I’ll stick with it then! But why wouldn’t the simple [gd_listing_map] shortcode work then?

The new shortcode will not work yet in GD 1.6.15
It will only be included in the next version.

    Thanks Guust,

I was wondering if that wasn’t the case…

    Hi Håvard,

There was a bug in listing map short code and we have fixed it, so as Guust said from NEXT RELEASE the listing map short code will work fine.

You can see on our TEST SITE, how map will look after using gd_listing_map short code on pages. http://wpgeo.directory/kiran/gd_listing_map/

    Thanks,
    Kiran
