    I have installed the plug-in and paid for the multilocation facility. However as you can see at http://www.militaryimagearchive.com/directory/ there is an initial results showing but it doesn’t show on the map. Then it says “Sorry, no record were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.”

    I simply cannot see why the mat is not showing the listing that was obviously there.

    Can anyone help?

    Look at the map legend: “no categories”.
    From https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/dos-and-donts/

    Create at least one category for your Custom Post Types like Places or Events, AND each listing has to be in at least one category, or your listings will not show on the frontend of your site
