My directory site was working fine when I finished with it last night. Got home from work today and applied the WordPress 5.3.1 update from SiteGround since it looked like mostly security fixes.

I stupidly also activated the Map Grouping and Map Customization plugins without checking functionality after the WordPress update. Really wish I had a re-do on this! *facepalm*

Checked a listing and found the maps on that page and all other pages say “No Records Found; Sorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.” Deactivated and deleted both extensions and nothing changed, so I assume the WP update caused the issue but unfortunately cannot be certain.

Tried adding new GD > Map widgets and get the same message. The address fields are still correct in our listing, but even the listing edit page has the map error.

No idea what to do to troubleshoot this and have not found any good leads in the forums or documentation yet. Any suggestions welcome!

Same error if I switch to Open Streets API instead of Google Maps.

Restored to a backup from this morning and the site worked.
Reapplied WordPress 5.3.1 update and the same problem occurred.
Restored backup again and it’s fine.

Not sure what the issue might be, but installing WP 5.3.1 is the cause. We’re back online and functional and will hold off on updating.

Thank you for the quick response. At this time our site is functional on the previous version of WordPress and we re-entered the lost data, so we do not actively need assistance.

Has the current GeoDirectory release been tested against WordPress 5.3.1 yet? I was able to consistently break my site twice by updating. We are currently using the Advanced Search, Custom Post Type, and Location Manager extensions with the GeoBold Genesis theme.

This evening I will try creating a new site, installing GeoDirectory, and applying the WordPress update. If it causes the same issue I will provide a login to investigate.

Yes, but the developers are working on the issue.

    Hello,

sorry for the trouble. This problem is due to a bug in Ninja Forms.

We will be releasing a hot-fix update to GeoDirectory as soon as possible. This should fix the problem until Ninja Forms can release their own fix.

Please look out for the update and let us know.

    Hello,

We have released GeoDirectory v2.0.0.72 to prevent issue caused with recent WordPress 5.3.1 & Ninja Forms. We also asked Ninja Team to fix this issue immediately from their side.
