I have a situation where I must have mis-configured something.
The default role for a new user is currently set to subscriber.
A new user signs up, is automatically assigned a role of subscriber. The user then clicks the claim business? link.
The claim listing form is shown as a pop up and the details are filled in then the send button is pressed and nothing happens. the send button does nothing.
I have tried the same claim listing process with users than have been assigned roles of Author plus some custom roles I have created. All with the same effect. Only a user who has been assigned the role of Administrator is able to claim the listing.
Listings were created by a user with a role of administrator in the first place if that has any bearing on the issue.
I would really appreciate some guidance on this, I assume I have something not set up correctly and I am on latest versions of theme and plugins at the time of this post.
